How to get to Maastricht & the MECC

Maastricht is situated in the heart of Europe, in the Euregion Meuse-Rhine. The city is surrounded by Belgium and Germany and is located close to France. By air

Maastricht has its own airport: Maastricht-Aachen Airport. In addition, there are several (inter)national airports within an hour’s drive from the centre of Maastricht. This ensures that Maastricht & region is easily accessible from all over the world.

The preferred congress airports are Brussels Zavantem Airport and Dusseldorf Airport.

Transfers and free shuttles

On September 17 (every full hour from 15h00 to 19h00) and on September 18 (every full hour from 08h00 to 16h00) free bus shuttles are provided from Brussels Airport (BRU) to Maastricht Central Station for ICT 2022 partcipants.

Private transfers can also be booked there (at delegates’ own cost).

Please note that due to logistical reasons the free shuttles cannot be provided for departure (Maastricht to Brussels Airport).

By public transport

MECC Maastricht is a five-minute walk from the Randwyck train station.

By car

Maastricht is easily accessible through various highways: E25/A2 (Amsterdam-Luxembourg), E40 (Cologne-Brussels), E42 (Liège-Paris), E314 (Maastricht-Aachen). Check the detailed route descriptions on www.routenet.nl

MECC Maastricht is located just off the A2 motorway, the E25 interchange (Amsterdam-Brussels) and the A79 motorway (Liège-Aachen/Cologne) and has convenient connections to European motorways. The conference centre is just off the E25/A2 motorway. Take the Randwyck/MECC/AZM exit and follow the signs for MECC or MECC Parking.
